Answers to common questions about Black Boys Code programs

Yes. All programs are completely free thanks to our sponsors and community partners.

We operate in several American cities. Visit our chapter page for locations.

Eligibility may vary slightly by program. Please review the description on each event page.

Our current girls’ programs are only available in Canada at this time. We do occasionally host special events in the USA where girls can also participate.

Our programs are specifically designed to support Black youth in STEM.

Depending on the program, students may learn Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, micro:bit, AI basics, robotics, and other beginner-friendly tools.

Please email your program coordinator or local chapter lead with your updated details.
