Black Boys Code is a national organization with our U.S. head office in Atlanta, Georgia, and several chapters across Canada.

At Black Boys Code, we’re on a mission to nurture the tech leaders, developers, and disruptors of tomorrow within our Black youth. We make the world of computer programming accessible through engaging workshops, after-school programs, exciting summer camps, and other initiatives.

Black Boys Code is dedicated solely to empowering Black youth with digital literacy skills to become tomorrow’s leaders in tech. With a presence spanning 12 chapters across Canada, we’re resolute in our commitment to bridge the diversity gap within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Our goal is simple yet impactful: to equip the next generation with the skills, knowledge, and unwavering confidence needed to become the tech leaders who will drive innovation and transformation in the years ahead.

At Black Boys Code We offer

Exposure workshops

Introductory programming courses showing students how to code

After-school programs:

Virtual after-school lessons that Unlock the world of math proficiency development and coding

Summer camp programs

Foundations of coding, robotics, and electronics, expanding on the technical foundation built in previous programs

ReSkilling Programs:

Bootcamp with the goal of providing an industry-recognized diploma to Black youth

[BLACK KIDS CODE GIRL]

Supporting Black Kids Code (Girls) is necessary for the vitality and growth of Black girls and women in STEM to help level out the representation rates that show they aren’t holding many of the available science and engineering roles in the marketplace. By equipping Black Girls to be ready, the future couldn’t get any brighter! Black Girls Code empowers Black youth in digital literacy so they can disrupt, design and innovate the world of technology.
