12 Days of Christmas | Day 1 🎄 We’re kicking off 12 Days of Christmas | Day 1 🎄

We’re kicking off our 12 Days of Christmas by reflecting on a powerful year.

In 2025, Black Boys Code reached thousands of students, expanded into new communities, and deepened our focus on future-ready skills like AI and robotics.

Over the next 12 days, we’ll share what made this year meaningful, and who made it possible. 💚
We’re excited to open registration for Semester 2 We’re excited to open registration for Semester 2 our Ontario-based Technology After School Program for boys ages 8–14.

Running February 4 to March 18, 2026, from 5–7 pm local time, this virtual program helps students strengthen math skills while being introduced to coding and the foundations of AI, all through hands-on, engaging learning.

📍Available to families in: Toronto, Ottawa, and Windsor.

🙏🏾 Proudly supported by the Black Youth Action Plan (BYAP), this semester introduces our Level Up With Math, Coding & AI theme and is open to both new and returning students.

Spaces are limited. Register early to avoid missing out.
Registration is now open for our Semester 2 of our Registration is now open for our Semester 2 of our Technology After School Program, designed for boys ages 8–14 who want to build confidence in math and explore coding in a supportive, engaging environment.

This virtual program runs from February 4 to March 18, 2026, from 5–7 pm local time, and introduces students to math concepts through coding and computer science. Whether your child is brand new or returning, they’ll strengthen problem-solving skills while learning alongside peers from across Canada.

📍Available to families in: Halifax, Brampton, Hamilton, Montréal, Waterloo, Durham, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

This annual initiative is in support of @covenanthousebc a non-profit organization that provides housing and safety support to at-risk youth. 

If you’re in the downtown Vancouver area, you can view the tree display, located outside of @glowbalrestaurant at TELUS Garden.

Due to an unexpected water main break in the neighborhood around TechTown Detroit, the building has been evacuated for emergency repairs. Because of this, we’re unable to safely host tomorrow’s workshop and will unfortunately be postponing the Detroit Chapter Launch and Maze Masters Workshop.

We know many of you were excited to attend, and we share your disappointment. Our team is already working with our partners on a new date, and we’ll share the updated details as soon as possible.

Join us this Saturday, Dec 6, for the Maze Masters: Code & Navigate workshop — a hands-on coding experience for boys ages 8-17! 

Whether your child is just starting out or ready to level up, they’ll learn to program Sphero robots to navigate mazes, just like self-driving cars do!
