Dive into the world of programming with our one-day Python workshop designed specifically for young minds (boys) aged 8-14. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to get a taste of what coding is all about, this workshop will set you on a path to discovering the fun and creativity of computer programming. Using Python, one of the most popular and versatile programming languages, students will embark on a journey to create their very own calculator!

Duration: This is a single-session workshop lasting 2-3 hours, providing a focused and immersive coding experience.
Tools and Resources: Participants will use Trinket, a user-friendly online Python editor, which is perfect for beginners and young learners. This platform allows students to write, run, and debug code directly from their web browsers.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

Understand the basics of Python programming, including syntax and key operations.
Develop problem-solving skills as they translate mathematical operations into code.
Gain experience in using an online development environment (Trinket).
Learn how to write functions and manage user inputs in Python.
Demonstrate their ability to build and test a simple Python application – their very own calculator.
